Center for Peace Studies - CPS

The Earth Constitution is the fundamental document for World Parliament. The Earth Constitution embodies all these values within a system that protects human rights, eliminates war, restores the environment, and guarantees equality before the law for all citizens of the Earth. The Constitution is not just another set of ideals like the Earth Charter or the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It provides a real blueprint for governing the Earth on behalf of all its citizens equally. It provides specific arrangements for a World Parliament, a World Judiciary, a World Ombudsmus (for protecting human rights), and a Civilian World Police Force.

CPS Objective:

* The Centre for Peace Studies promotes the idea of non-violent, democratic world governance as enunciated by Gandhiji.

* CPC Promotes complete global disarmament and stopping of wars.

* Conducts academic programs to promote World Peace.

CPS vision

The message of peace and disarmament is very central to the idea of world federation and world governance and more so in the current tumultuous world

Board CPS

"World Peace- My Experiences" By Prof. E P Menon
02-OCT-2022

It was a great stride in human history when on 01st June 1962, young Menon, along with his friend Satish ventured to walk around the world with a banner "Ban the Bomb" in hand. This was in response to the clarion call given by the great Bertrand Russel from his prison cell, calling his country and the world to give up nuclear weapons. Mr.Menon will share his experiences after half a century.
